The Geological Society of Kentucky (GSK) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the science, practice, and understanding of geology within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Society brings together professional geologists, educators, students, and geology enthusiasts to promote geological knowledge, provide networking opportunities, and support activities that highlight Kentucky’s rich geologic heritage.

The Geological Society of Kentucky works closely with the Kentucky Geological Survey (KGS) at the University of Kentucky, which supports the Society’s goals and collaborates on events and educational outreach.
